QUETTA: In a series of operations aimed at dismantling Indian-supported terrorist networks, Pakistan’s security forces have killed more than 71 militants in Balochistan over the past 96 hours. The operations, conducted in Ziarat, Mand, and District Nushki, targeted hideouts used by the groups Fitna Al-Khawarij and Fitna Al-Hindustan, which pose significant threats to local communities.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the operations were a response to intelligence reports that identified these terrorist groups as being backed by India and the Afghan Taliban. The campaign, part of the broader “Azm-e-Istehkam” counter-terrorism initiative, has seen security forces recover substantial quantities of weapons, ammunition, and explosives.

The ongoing efforts have intensified in recent days, with security forces clearing multiple hideouts and engaging in intense firefights with the militants. The operations have not only neutralized immediate threats but also delivered a significant blow to the Indian-backed proxies, according to the security forces.

The Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan continues to support these initiatives, highlighting the resolve of Pakistan’s security apparatus to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country. The operations will persist until the complete neutralization of the identified threats, officials said.
