ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry recently visited the Kohsar, Shalimar, and Secretariat Police Stations to assess the ongoing development work, facilities available to officers, and the services provided to citizens.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, during his visits, IGP Chaudhry inspected sections of the police stations and was briefed by officers on the progress of development projects and citizen services. He instructed officers to complete these projects within the designated timeframe and maintain standards without compromising quality.

The IGP stressed the importance of providing improved facilities for police personnel and creating a more welcoming atmosphere for citizens. He urged officers to ensure timely and effective police services, prioritize resolving citizens’ issues, and enhance public facilitation and service delivery at the stations.

IGP Chaudhry highlighted that transforming police stations to meet modern demands, making them citizen-friendly, and equipping them with improved facilities are key priorities for Islamabad Police. These initiatives aim to facilitate citizens’ access to police services and provide a better working environment for officers.
