Pakistan Reaffirms Support for Syrian-Led Transitional Justice

New York: Pakistan has reaffirmed its support for a Syrian-led approach to transitional justice and national reconciliation, emphasizing the importance of these processes in the context of Syria’s ongoing challenges. The statement was made by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, during the Arria-Formula Meeting on Transitional Justice and Missing Persons in the Syrian Arab Republic.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahmad highlighted that transitional justice is essential for promoting reconciliation, restoring trust, and strengthening social cohesion in Syria.
