Jeddah: Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to Saudi Arabia under the Mutual Defence Agreement during a significant meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
According to Radio Pakistan, Field Marshal Munir’s choice to wear the Combat Dress of Pakistan’s Armed Forces, rather than the ceremonial attire typically worn during foreign visits, underscored the profound solidarity between the two nations. This sartorial decision was emblematic of Pakistan’s unwavering pledge to defend Saudi Arabia, highlighting the enduring brotherly relations and commitment within the framework of the longstanding defence agreement between the two countries.
