Kabul: Six hundred and sixty-three Afghan Taliban operatives have been killed and more than eight hundred and eighty-seven injured in the ongoing Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, according to a recent announcement. The operation has also resulted in the destruction of two hundred and forty-nine check posts and the capture and destruction of forty-four others by security forces.
According to Radio Pakistan, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar shared updates on his X handle, stating that two hundred and twenty-four tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery guns have been destroyed. The operation has effectively targeted seventy terrorist and terrorist support infrastructure locations across Afghanistan through air strikes.
The report specifies that the operation targeted terrorists and their support infrastructure, including logistic bases and camps, in Kabul, Paktia, and Kandhar. The security forces emphasized that no civilian population or infrastructures were targeted, countering claims made by Afghan regime officials and media.
