New York: Pakistan has reiterated its unwavering support for the sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and national unity of Libya. This position was articulated by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, during a briefing at the United Nations Security Council focused on Libya and the International Criminal Court.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Ahmad emphasized that a political process led and owned by Libyans is the sole viable route to achieving enduring peace, stability, and reconciliation in Libya. His statement underscores Pakistan’s continued commitment to supporting Libya’s self-determination and its pursuit of national unity amidst ongoing challenges.
