This year’s theme, “Invest in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” underscores the necessity for continuous peace efforts globally.

According to Press Information Department, Pakistan remains committed to a robust multilateral system centered around the United Nations. The nation advocates for peaceful conflict resolution and has historically contributed to UN missions worldwide. Pakistani peacekeepers have played a significant role in safeguarding civilians and supporting communities affected by conflict, demonstrating Pakistan’s long-standing commitment to peace.

Pakistan’s diplomatic interventions, such as the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, have been instrumental in easing tensions between Iran and the United States.
