ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reinforced its commitment to dialogue and diplomacy as essential tools for the peaceful resolution of conflicts, as highlighted by recent international engagements. These sentiments were expressed by Tahir Andrabi, the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a media briefing in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Andrabi emphasized that ‘The Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding’ and the ‘Lucerne Summit’ have strengthened Pakistan’s belief in dialogue as a key strategy for resolving disputes. He noted that Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace and de-escalation efforts has been positively recognized by various countries and members of the international community.
The spokesperson also highlighted the international community’s trust in Pakistan’s commitment to fostering dialogue, peace, security, and stability regionally and beyond. Andrabi extended sincere appreciation to all countries and partners that have supported Pakistan’s efforts in these areas.
