Islamabad, January 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):State Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Farrukh Habib says Pakistan ranks second in the world in controlling corona. Talking to media in Faisalabad today [Saturday], he said about seventy million people in the country have so far been vaccinated.
He said due to proper vaccination and implementation of SOPs, markets are now open and people have resumed routine activities, while various countries are still under the effects of COVID-19. Farrukh Habib said that government is paying special attention to improving economic growth of the country.
He said development projects and schemes worth hundreds of billions of rupees are underway in all parts of the country. He said tax collection has increased and various sectors like IT, textile, construction, and small and medium industries are growing due to prudent policies of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
