Pakistan Ramps Up Independence Day Celebrations with Nationwide Events

Islamabad: Across Pakistan, preparations are underway to mark the country’s Independence Day with a series of festive and patriotic events. Citizens, particularly the youth, are actively participating, purchasing national flags and attire to celebrate the occasion.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, events range from cultural programs to sports, with notable celebrations planned in major cities. In Lahore, the Youth Affairs and Sports Department Punjab has organized the Azadi Marathon, drawing participants from various demographics to partake in the patriotic run.

Islamabad is set to host an array of events at F-9 Park, including the city’s first-ever drone show, a musical concert, and a fireworks display that promises to captivate attendees. Additionally, a special tree-planting area will be set up to engage families and children, promoting environmental consciousness alongside national pride.

These celebrations not only commemorate Pakistan’s independence but also foster community spirit and national unity during the festivities.
