Karachi: President Asif Ali Zardari has reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding its maritime boundaries and national interests. He highlighted this dedication in a recent statement, expressing satisfaction with the induction of PNS Khaibar into the Pakistan Navy’s fleet, a move he described as indicative of the Navy’s ongoing enhancement in professional capabilities and preparedness.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari remarked that the Pakistan Navy has consistently met its responsibilities in line with national security demands, particularly during the operation known as “Marka-e-Haq.” He further emphasized the significance of a robust naval force as a crucial component in maintaining Pakistan’s sovereignty amidst an evolving regional landscape.
