North Waziristan: Eight individuals, identified as Khawarij, were killed during an attempted infiltration into North Waziristan on Wednesday, according to security sources. Two of the individuals killed in the operation conducted by security forces were Afghan nationals.
According to Radio Pakistan, the incident has raised concerns among defense experts, who argue that it challenges the Afghan Taliban regime’s claims of not supporting terrorism in Pakistan. Experts suggest that the Afghan Taliban may be using peace negotiations as a strategy to secure relief and time from Pakistan while simultaneously advancing their commercial interests.
