Deputy Prime Minister Thanks Iran’s Foreign Minister for Clarification on Media Reports

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar expressed his appreciation for Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s efforts to clarify Iran’s stance in response to recent media reports. The exchange highlights the ongoing diplomatic dialogue between Pakistan and Iran amidst contentious narratives portrayed by the media.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar conveyed his gratitude through a post on the social media platform X, where he referred to Araghchi as a “Dear Brother.” The acknowledgment came after Araghchi addressed misrepresentations of Iran’s position in the US media and recognized Pakistan’s diplomatic contributions.

In his statement on X, Araghchi refuted claims of Iran’s reluctance to engage with Islamabad, emphasizing the importance of ending what he described as the “illegal war” imposed on Iran. His message, concluding with “Pakistan Zindabad,” underscores the friendly ties between the two nations.

Additionally, Pakistan’s Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi underscored the significance of the Iranian Foreign Minister’s statement. Andrabi, in his own X post, cautioned against speculation and stressed the value of relying on official statements and verified media reports for accurate information.
