Karachi: Pakistan Navy has successfully conducted a live weapon firing of the Taimoor Air-Launched Cruise Missile, an indigenously developed anti-ship weapon system, demonstrating its advanced combat capabilities.
According to Radio Pakistan, the missile executed its mission with precision, showcasing the Navy’s ability to detect, target, and neutralize enemy sea-based threats at extended ranges. This achievement marks a significant enhancement in Pakistan’s national defense capabilities, reinforcing the coordinated strike posture of the country’s armed forces in the conventional domain. The successful test underscores Pakistan Navy’s commitment to safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests and sovereign waters.
In recognition of this achievement, President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and other service chiefs have extended their congratulations to the scientists and engineers involved in the project.
