Senior Police Officers Receive SSP Rank Badges at Central Police Office Ceremony


Lahore: In a ceremony held at the Central Police Office, ten senior police officers were awarded SSP rank badges, marking a significant milestone in their careers. The event was conducted under the direction of Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem, who personally conferred the badges on the promoted officers.



According to Punjab Police, the ceremony was attended by the officers’ families and relatives, adding a personal touch to the formal proceedings. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem took the opportunity to congratulate the officers and their families. He emphasized the importance of their new roles, urging them to serve citizens with enhanced dedication and professional competence. He noted that departmental promotions signify increased responsibilities and reflect the officers’ performance, expressing optimism that the officers will fulfill their duties more effectively.



The officers who received promotions include Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Ajmal, Muhammad Asim, Imran Ahmad Malik, Javeria Muhammad Jameel, Muhammad Imran, Khurram Shahzad, Ahmad Nawaz Shah, Muhammad Imran, Tasawar Iqbal, and Abdul Wahab. The ceremony was also attended by senior police officials including Additional IG Punjab Imran Arshad, Additional IG Training Khurram Shakoor, and several other high-ranking officers.
