Islamabad: Pakistan commemorated the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, reflecting on its decisive military response in the face of adversity and reaffirming its commitment to peace and stability. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif delivered a message expressing gratitude for the country’s resilience and the sacrifices made by its armed forces.
According to Press Information Department, the Prime Minister emphasized the significance of Marka-e-Haq as a testament to Pakistan’s strength and resilience. The event marked a unified military response across land, sea, air, and cyber domains, establishing Pakistan’s reputation as an indomitable nation. The Prime Minister paid tribute to the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber, and Admiral Naveed Ashraf for their strategic roles.
The Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s stance on peace while maintaining a strong deterrence posture. The message underscored Pakistan’s determination to safeguard its security and territorial integrity against any threats. The Prime Minister also addressed the unresolved issue of Kashmir, emphasizing the need for a resolution in line with United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
