Pakistan-Japan Startup and Innovation Event Held in Tokyo


Tokyo: The Embassy of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Asia Web3 Alliance Japan, hosted a significant event in Tokyo to foster collaboration between Pakistan and Japan in the fields of artificial intelligence, Web3, digital technologies, and entrepreneurship. The event aimed to enhance cooperation and partnership between the two nations in these rapidly evolving sectors.



According to Radio Pakistan, the event successfully gathered representatives from government sectors, industry leaders, technology companies, investors, and the startup ecosystems of both countries. This gathering provided a platform for dialogue and cooperation, highlighting the potential for mutual growth and innovation.



In his keynote address, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan, Abdul Hameed, underscored the increasing importance of technology and innovation in the economic relations between Pakistan and Japan. He noted Pakistan’s expanding digital economy and the country’s skilled technology workforce, emphasizing the entrepreneurial potential present in Pakistan. Ambassador Hameed called for stronger partnerships among institutions, companies, investors, and startup communities in both countries, aiming to create a robust framework for future collaborations.
