ISLAMABAD, The federal government of Pakistan is intensifying its efforts to provide enhanced health facilities at the tehsil and district levels across the nation.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Caretaker Federal Minister for Health Nadeem Jan made this announcement while inaugurating a community health center in the Tangi area of Charsadda. During the event, Jan declared plans to upgrade the Tangi healthcare unit into a modern hospital to align with the United Nations’ sustainable development goals.
Additionally, he revealed the opening of a new cardiac unit at the same hospital. Jan emphasized the government’s commitment to health infrastructure development, citing the ongoing project to refurbish five-hundred primary healthcare units nationwide, expected to be completed by January of the following year.
Further expanding on these healthcare initiatives, the Health Minister announced the future project of solarizing four-hundred hospitals starting next year, highlighting the government’s approach to sustainable healthcare development.
