Pakistan expresses deep concerns over Indian biased, one sided trial against Yasin Malik 

Islamabad, May 21, 2022 (PPI-OT):Pakistan has expressed deep concern over Indian biased and one sided trial against Hurriyat Leader Yasin Malik on the charge of terrorism allegations. This was stated by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, while taking to media along with spouse of Yasin Malik, Mashal Malik and her daughter in Islamabad on Saturday.

She said allegations of terrorism against Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik are baseless and he was indicted by an Indian court on Thursday. According to Indian media and social media reports, he would be given sentence to death or life imprisonment on Wednesday.

She said that denying Yasin Malik the right to a transparent and free trial, India is openly violating international law and human rights Protocols. The Minister called the international community to take notice of India’s blatant violations of international law against Yasin Malik.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Pakistan stands with the Kashmiris for their freedom movement. Speaking on the occasion, Hurriyat Leader Mashal Malik said that her husband is not being provided counsellor access, right of fair and transparent trial for his Defense in Tihar Jail.

She demanded International Community and the United Nations for an independent investigation and put the case in International Court of Justice. She also demanded that Yasin Malik may also be declare as protected personality.
