New York: Pakistan has expressed strong condemnation of Israel’s ongoing military operations in southern Lebanon, calling for immediate international intervention to prevent further escalation and alleviate humanitarian suffering.
According to Radio Pakistan, the condemnation was articulated by Pakistan’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Usman Jadoon, during an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. The meeting was convened to address the deteriorating situation in Lebanon. In his address, Jadoon emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering support for Lebanon’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
The ambassador urged the international community to take decisive action to curb further violence and assist Lebanon in its efforts to restore peace and stability across its territory.
