Islamabad: Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent attacks by the Houthi militia on civilian and economic targets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, emphasizing its support for the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan expressed grave concern over the attacks in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, describing them as violations of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and threats to regional peace. The statement highlighted that these actions undermine efforts to resolve the conflict in Yemen peacefully and durably.
Pakistan reiterated its steadfast support for Saudi Arabia, underscoring its commitment to the Kingdom’s security and prosperity. The statement also conveyed wishes for the recovery of those injured in the attacks. Moreover, in alignment with the UN Charter and international law, Pakistan affirmed Saudi Arabia’s right to defend its territory and safeguard its national assets.
The country emphasized its dedication to promoting peace and stability in the region, asserting that it will continue its efforts in pursuit of this goal.
