Pakistan Calls for Concrete Plan for Gaza Reconstruction at UN Security Council


New York: Pakistan has called on the international community to support the development of a comprehensive plan for the reconstruction of Gaza, emphasizing the need for a two-state solution to the Palestinian conflict during a United Nations Security Council debate.



According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Munir Akram, the permanent representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, expressed hope that all stages of the current ceasefire agreement would be fully implemented, leading to a permanent cessation of hostilities.



In his address, Ambassador Akram reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the two-state solution, describing it as the most promising and viable framework for achieving lasting peace between Israel, the Palestinians, and the broader Arab and Muslim world.



The call for action at the UN Security Council highlights ongoing international efforts and discussions surrounding the future of Gaza and the broader Middle East peace process.
