ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized the importance of the country’s relationship with Azerbaijan during a farewell meeting with the outgoing Azerbaijani Ambassador, Khazar Farhadov. The discussion, held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, underlined the enduring ties between the two nations.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari acknowledged Ambassador Farhadov’s efforts in strengthening the bilateral relationship, describing Azerbaijan as a trusted partner and brotherly nation. He highlighted the foundation of mutual trust and support that has continued to fortify the partnership between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
President Zardari expressed contentment with the progress seen in various areas of collaboration, including parliamentary, business, cultural, and interpersonal exchanges. The meeting underscored the deep-rooted connections and shared interests that bind the two countries together.
