Pakistan and Turkey Strengthen Bonds with Eid Greetings and Future Cooperation


Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey engaged in a warm exchange of Eid-ul-Fitr greetings, emphasizing their countries’ enduring relationship and shared strategic interests.



According to Press Information Department, the two leaders discussed the strong historical ties between Pakistan and Turkey, expressing a mutual commitment to enhance collaboration across various sectors. The conversation also touched on the importance of supporting each other’s core national interests and the shared concern for peace in Palestine.



The call reaffirmed the intent to hold the 7th session of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) soon, with Prime Minister Sharif reiterating an invitation to President Erdogan to visit Pakistan, aiming to further solidify the partnership between the two nations.
