Cholpon-Ata: Pakistan and Tajikistan have pledged to enhance their collaboration in various sectors, including trade, investment, and energy. This commitment was articulated during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar of Pakistan and Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting.
According to Radio Pakistan, the two officials reaffirmed the longstanding, brotherly relations between the two nations and highlighted the significance of continued high-level exchanges to bolster their partnership. They also discussed regional and global developments, emphasizing the need for cooperation in multilateral forums to foster peace and stability.
Foreign Minister Muhriddin reiterated Tajikistan’s support for Pakistan’s initiatives aimed at promoting regional peace and stability, as well as the peaceful resolution of regional conflicts. The leaders underscored the importance of cultural exchanges and people-to-people contacts to further solidify the ties between their countries.
