ISLAMABAD: The government has reiterated its commitment to revolutionize the management and monitoring of official duties through a comprehensive digital platform, which promises real-time oversight, improved inter-ministerial collaboration, and expedited execution of the Prime Minister’s initiatives.

According to Radio Pakistan, the determination was conveyed during a high-level Secretaries Committee meeting in Islamabad, focused on expediting the effective implementation of the Prime Minister Office System (PMOS). The meeting was jointly chaired by Minister for Economic Affairs and Establishment Division Ahad Cheema and Adviser to the Prime Minister Dr. Tauqeer Shah.

Minister Cheema described PMOS as a transformative governance tool, replacing traditional manual processes with an integrated digital system that facilitates real-time monitoring, instant feedback, data-driven decision-making, and seamless institutional coordination. He directed all Federal Secretaries to upload the majority of their respective ministry data onto PMOS by the following week. Additionally, he instructed them to review and monitor tasks on the platform at least twice daily to ensure continuous engagement and prompt compliance with directives from the Prime Minister’s Office.

Cheema also assured that the Prime Minister’s Office would collaborate closely with ministries to address any implementation challenges through dedicated review meetings. Federal Secretaries expressed their appreciation for the Prime Minister’s Office and the Pakistan Digital Authority in developing a robust digital governance platform, noting its potential to significantly enhance institutional efficiency, transparency, coordination, and performance monitoring across the Federal Government.
