Islamabad: Pakistan and Tajikistan have emphasized the necessity of strengthening regional cooperation to tackle pressing environmental challenges, including climate change, glacial melt water management, and wildlife conservation. This consensus was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Climate Change, Dr. Musadik Masood Malik, and Tajik Ambassador Yusuf Sharifzoda in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Malik highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts among regional countries to effectively address these shared environmental issues. The meeting underscored a mutual understanding that coordinated actions are crucial to manage the impacts of climate-related changes and to preserve biodiversity in the region.
