Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Emphasizes Diplomacy in Regional Challenges


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to pursuing dialogue and diplomacy as the primary means of addressing regional challenges. This affirmation came during a telephone conversation with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.



According to Radio Pakistan, the UK Foreign Secretary acknowledged Pakistan’s positive role in promoting peaceful engagement in the region. During their conversation, both leaders assessed the current regional situation and the ongoing efforts to enhance peace and stability. The discussion also included an evaluation of the broader implications for regional security and international trade.



Both Dar and Cooper concurred on the significance of maintaining continued engagement and close contact to navigate the complex regional dynamics effectively.
