AMMAN: Pakistan and Somalia have pledged to sustain their collaboration at international forums, as confirmed by a meeting between high-ranking officials from both nations. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, and Somalian Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdisalam Abdi Ali, met on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem to discuss the enduring partnership between their countries and explore opportunities to enhance cooperation across various sectors.

According to Radio Pakistan, during their meeting, the leaders reviewed the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Somalia and deliberated on strengthening bilateral cooperation in political, economic, defense, education, and capacity-building sectors. The discussion also covered regional developments, focusing particularly on the situation in the Middle East and the worsening conditions in East Jerusalem.
