GENEVA: Pakistan’s Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, has affirmed the country’s commitment to advancing its partnership with Saudi Arabia, particularly in the human resource sector. This announcement came during discussions with Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development at the 114th International Labour Conference.
According to Radio Pakistan, the talks focused on significant areas of mutual interest such as labour mobility, workforce development, and strengthening bilateral cooperation. The discussions highlighted the need for enhanced collaboration aimed at creating greater employment opportunities and improving workforce skills, benefiting both nations.
The 114th International Labour Conference, held in Geneva, serves as a global platform for representatives from governments, employers, and workers to deliberate on pressing labour and employment issues, with the goal of promoting decent work opportunities worldwide.
