ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have pledged to continue collaborative efforts to address attacks aimed at Makkah and various facilities within the Kingdom, as outlined in the Makkah Agreement for Joint Defence. This commitment was reaffirmed during a recent meeting of military leaders.

According to Radio Pakistan, Saudi Defence Minister Khalid bin Salman highlighted the Kingdom’s approval of the meeting’s outcomes, which involved Chiefs of Staff from the signatory nations of the Makkah Agreement. The discussions centered on the recent attacks targeting Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the impact on civilian and economic infrastructure.

The meeting also included an interaction between the Saudi Defence Minister and Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, further underscoring the bilateral commitment to confronting these threats collaboratively.
