MANILA: Pakistan and Oman have reached an agreement to bolster cooperation through high-level exchanges, trade and investment enhancements, and increased people-to-people and business-to-business contacts. This development was formalized in a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi on the sidelines of the ASEAN Regional Forum.
According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders expressed satisfaction with the ongoing trajectory of bilateral relations and discussed regional and international issues. The Omani Foreign Minister acknowledged Pakistan’s role in fostering dialogue and regional peace. Both parties voiced concern over recent regional developments, emphasizing the need to uphold ceasefire agreements, respect international law, and pursue lasting peace and stability.
