Cholpon-Ata: Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen bilateral ties during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Moldokanovich Kulubaev. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining high-level exchanges and implementing agreements from recent state visits. They discussed progress in their countries’ cooperation and explored expanding collaboration in areas such as trade, investment, energy, connectivity, business-to-business, and people-to-people contacts.

Both officials also shared views on regional and international developments, reaffirming their commitment to work closely in multilateral forums to promote peace and stability. Deputy Prime Minister Dar congratulated Kyrgyzstan on successfully hosting the SCO meeting and its election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2027-2028 term.
