Islamabad Police Arrests 32 Suspects and Seizes Drugs and Weapons

ISLAMABAD: In a significant operation, Islamabad Police have apprehended 32 individuals linked to various criminal activities, recovering drugs and weapons in the process.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operation resulted in the arrest of seven individuals involved in criminal activities, with authorities seizing Ice, seven pistols, ammunition, and two knives from their possession. Legal proceedings have been initiated, with investigations actively underway.

The arrests were part of a broader campaign targeting proclaimed offenders and absconders, leading to the capture of 25 additional criminals. The initiative follows directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, emphasizing the police’s ongoing commitment to combat crime and maintain peace in the capital.

SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza reaffirmed the police’s dedication to safeguarding the community, stressing that maintaining public order and protecting residents are paramount. Citizens are encouraged to report suspicious activities to local police stations or through the “Pucar-15” emergency helpline, facilitating a cooperative effort between the police and the public to eliminate crime.
