Pakistan and Iran Pledge to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation


Islamabad, In a significant development, Pakistan and Iran have pledged to deepen their bilateral cooperation across a variety of sectors, marking a renewed phase of diplomatic and strategic engagement between the two neighbors. This commitment was articulated during a telephonic conversation between Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, today.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the dialogue underscored both nations’ intent to bolster relations in areas of mutual interest. Amir-Abdollahian extended congratulations to Pakistan’s caretaker government on the successful execution of parliamentary elections, a gesture that Jilani warmly appreciated, recognizing it as a testament to the strong fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iran.



This interaction comes on the heels of the Iranian Foreign Minister’s visit to Pakistan earlier in the month, an event that has facilitated the full resumption of official engagements between the two countries. The revitalized diplomatic efforts are aimed at enhancing collaboration in various fields, reflecting a shared vision for regional stability and prosperity.
