Islamabad: In a recent meeting at the Parliament House, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed the significance of reinforcing Pakistan-Iran relations, focusing on shared religious and cultural ties as a foundation for enhanced cooperation. He highlighted that strengthening parliamentary exchanges is crucial for fostering robust trade and economic partnerships between the two nations.
According to a statement by National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sadiq reiterated that Iran is a close and valued neighbor, emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to its longstanding relationship with Iran. During his talks with the Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, he pointed out that increased interactions between the parliaments could act as a catalyst for improving bilateral relations.
Speaker Sadiq also emphasized the importance of consolidating the bond between the two countries, noting their significant roles in promoting regional peace and stability. He underscored that cooperation between Pakistan and Iran is vital for achieving these objectives.
