Pakistan and Egypt Pledge to Enhance Cooperation Across Key Sectors


Cairo: Pakistan and Egypt have pledged to deepen their cooperation across various sectors, including political, economic, defense, health, and pharmaceuticals. This commitment was made during a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty in Cairo. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the R-4 Meeting.



According to Radio Pakistan, both officials agreed to revitalize existing bilateral mechanisms to boost collaboration further. The dialogue also included an exchange of views on regional and international developments, with a focus on the Middle East. Both parties welcomed a recently reached peace agreement, expressing optimism that its implementation would lead to lasting peace and stability in the region.



The ministers reviewed a broad range of bilateral relations and conveyed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of Pakistan-Egypt ties. The discussions underscored the shared commitment of both nations to strengthen their brotherly relations.
