Islamabad, Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their commitment to the successful implementation of the ML-1 railway project. This assurance came during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Communication, Maritime Affairs and Railways, Shahid Ashraf Tarar, and the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong.

According to Radio Pakistan, reports that the meeting emphasized the ML-1 project’s significance for both nations. Minister Shahid Ashraf Tarar highlighted the project’s priority status and the political will to ensure its successful realization. Ambassador Jiang Zaidong stressed the mutual understanding underpinning the project and expressed China’s full commitment to working alongside Pakistan for the project’s speedy completion.
