Pakistan and China Emphasize Need for US-Iran Dialogue Implementation

Islamabad: Pakistan and China have jointly emphasized the importance of implementing understandings reached between the United States and Iran, signaling a commitment to fostering regional stability through diplomatic engagement.

According to Radio Pakistan, this development emerged from a telephone conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. During the discussion, Dar expressed appreciation for China’s ongoing support of Pakistan’s efforts to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the United States. He highlighted China’s significant role in contributing to regional peace and stability.

In response, the Chinese Foreign Minister praised Pakistan’s active diplomatic outreach and mediation efforts, which have been pivotal in creating favorable conditions for continued engagement between Tehran and Washington. Both nations reiterated their commitment to supporting diplomatic solutions as a means to enhance regional security and cooperation.
