Pakistan and Canada to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation Across Key Sectors

Islamabad: Pakistan and Canada have agreed to bolster their bilateral relations by enhancing cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, education, and capacity building. This agreement was reached during a meeting between Canadian High Commissioner Tarik Ali Khan and Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on discussions of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of strengthening collaborations in areas of shared priority. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq underscored the need to further promote parliamentary cooperation and highlighted the potential for expanding trade and economic partnerships between the two nations.

The High Commissioner acknowledged Pakistan’s dedication to promoting democratic values and institutional development. He expressed Canada’s interest in expanding cooperation with Pakistan, specifically in the sectors of education, investment, and capacity building.
