New York: Pakistan and Benin have pledged to enhance their bilateral relations, with a focus on economic and trade cooperation. This commitment was articulated during a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Benin’s Foreign Minister Corinne Amori Brunet, held on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting saw the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at establishing bilateral political consultations between the two nations. The agreement seeks to create a structured framework for regular dialogue and consultation, allowing both countries to discuss matters of mutual interest more effectively.
The MoU marks a significant step in formalizing the diplomatic interactions between Pakistan and Benin, facilitating a more organized approach to addressing shared concerns and opportunities.
