Cholpon-Ata: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus across multiple sectors. The discussions took place during the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two officials reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and expressed eagerness for the upcoming 9th Session of the Pakistan-Belarus Joint Ministerial Commission, scheduled to occur in Pakistan next month. Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing high-level exchanges to bolster their partnership.

The talks included strategies to expand economic and trade ties, as well as to deepen collaboration in defense, agriculture, technology, and workforce exchange. The leaders confirmed their dedication to the Roadmap for Comprehensive Cooperation for the years 2025 to 2027.

The ministers also shared perspectives on regional developments and other mutual interests. Foreign Minister Ryzhenkov acknowledged Pakistan’s positive role in facilitating dialogue during the U.S.-Iran situation and praised its ongoing efforts to foster regional peace and security.
