Islamabad: The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Headquarters, Muhammad Ateeq Tahir, has directed a comprehensive and transparent approach to the Islamabad Police recruitment process. In a recent coordination meeting, he emphasized the importance of adhering to merit and professional standards while ensuring a well-organized environment for candidates.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting was attended by senior officers from both the Islamabad Police and the National Police Foundation. Discussions focused on various stages of the recruitment process, reviewing administrative and operational arrangements, testing and screening procedures, and inter-agency coordination. The aim was to enhance the efficiency and transparency of the recruitment system.

DIG Headquarters Muhammad Ateeq Tahir stressed the need for timely completion of the recruitment process, insisting on strict adherence to prescribed rules and regulations. He called for effective monitoring throughout and instructed that candidates receive proper guidance and facilities at every stage. The meeting concluded with directives to finalize arrangements in advance and conduct the process in line with modern professional standards to select the most competent candidates based on merit.
