Pakistan Aims to Boost Petroleum Production, Says Minister Musadik

Islamabad, Minister for Petroleum Musadik Masood Malik announced today that the government has introduced several policies aimed at increasing the domestic production of petroleum products, including gas and crude oil. These initiatives were highlighted during his address at an energy symposium held in the capital.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Malik detailed efforts to enhance exploration activities by opening new blocks for bidding and attracting international companies to the sector. He emphasized the government’s commitment to digitizing the regulatory process to improve transparency and efficiency in business operations. Additionally, Malik expressed strong support for the TAPI gas pipeline project, which he said would provide less expensive gas and is part of Pakistan’s strategy to secure energy stability.
