Islamabad, In a notable development underscoring the deepening ties between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi met with Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Islamabad on Saturday.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Kakar conveyed his best wishes to the UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, emphasizing the enduring and brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE. He remarked that these ties are strengthening day by day, highlighted by his recent visit to the UAE where several memorandums of understanding were signed, marking a new chapter in the economic partnership between the two nations.
Kakar pointed out that 1.8 million Pakistanis residing in the UAE are significantly contributing to the development and economic growth of both countries. He also stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation in aviation and tourism and exploring railway connectivity to boost people-to-people contact.
From his side, the UAE Minister of Foreign Trade expressed a commitment to further bolster trade relations with Pakistan, signifying a mutual interest in expanding the bilateral partnership.
