Wana: In a significant security operation, the Pakistan Army successfully intercepted a suicide attack in the Azam Warsak area of South Waziristan, resulting in injuries to seven civilians. The attack, orchestrated by Khawarij, involved an explosive-laden vehicle targeting an army post.
According to Radio Pakistan, the timely intervention by the Pakistan Army’s alert unit led to the destruction of the vehicle before it could reach its intended target. This action not only prevented potential widespread casualties but also resulted in the death of the attacker, identified as Khawarij.
The injured civilians have been transported to the District Headquarters Hospital in Wana for medical treatment.
