Srinagar, July 01, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the People’s Democratic Party President, Mehbooba Mufti has said that Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) was formed to represent aspirations of the Kashmiri people and she was not away from it. Mehbooba Mufti, who chaired party’s core group meeting at her residence in Srinagar, reiterated that the PAGD would continue to represent aspirations of people of the territory.
A senior leader, who participated in the meeting, said Mehbooba Mufti stated that she was not away from the PAGD, but due to her personal engagements the PAGD meeting, which was scheduled to be held on Tuesday, was postponed. He said that Mehbooba also discussed several issues which emerged out during the all-party meeting convened by Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in New Delhi on June 24. Pertinently, PAGD, a conglomerate of several regional parties had called a meeting on Tuesday to discuss issues that emerged during the APM, however, the meeting was postponed due to personal engagements of Mehbooba Mufti.
