Our Relationship with Pakistan Is Based on Faith, Says PM AJK Anwarul Haq

Islamabad: The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, has affirmed that the relationship with Pakistan is rooted in faith, emphasizing their identity as “born Pakistanis.”

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, in an interview with a private TV channel, Prime Minister Haq highlighted the role of the Pakistan Armed Forces and its citizens in maintaining a strong stance on the Kashmir freedom movement. He expressed a commitment to sacrifice everything, including life and blood, for Pakistan.

The Prime Minister urged going beyond political, diplomatic, and moral support for occupied Kashmir’s oppressed people. He remarked on the nature of international relations, asserting that certain groups cannot be allies to Muslims.

Haq referenced Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, discussing the right to self-defense and suggesting a potential aggressive approach against India’s actions if necessary.

He warned that continued Indian oppression might compel the youth of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to cross the Line of Control to protect the people in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
