Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, engaged in a telephonic conversation with Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Bin Hamad Bin Hamood Al Busaidi, to discuss the enhancement of bilateral relations between their countries.
During the call, both ministers emphasized the importance of strengthening existing ties across various fields, emphasizing mutual benefits. The leaders extended invitations for official visits to each other’s countries, agreeing to arrange these at the earliest convenient opportunity.
The discussion also covered pressing issues related to regional and international peace and security, underscoring the collaborative approach both nations intend to pursue.
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed appreciation for Oman’s role in facilitating negotiations between Iran and the United States, highlighting the significance of these efforts in fostering dialogue and understanding.
