No Amendments to Provincial Bar Council Election Laws, Confirms Law Minister


Sargodha: Federal Law Minister Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar announced that there will be no changes to the Provincial Bar Council election laws and affirmed that the elections will proceed as scheduled. This announcement followed a meeting with representatives of various bar associations from the Sargodha Division.



The meeting convened presidents and secretaries from Sargodha, Mianwali, Bhalwal, and several other bar associations. The focus was primarily on discussing the upcoming Provincial Bar Council elections, set to occur later this year.



Senator Tarar assured the attendees that the current legal framework governing the elections will remain intact. He stressed the importance of adhering to established laws and regulations for the electoral process.



In addition to election matters, the meeting addressed ongoing and future development projects aimed at supporting the legal community. The Law Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to the legal fraternity, announcing financial grants for different bar associations to enhance and renovate their facilities.



These grants are intended to improve the working conditions for lawyers, providing them with a better environment to conduct their professional duties.
